Photoshop
This past semester I took a photoshop course because I though it would be a good skill to know for interior design. Although I am sure it will come in handy at some point within a design project, so far I have been using photoshop more in my marketing courses! All of my photoshop images shown below are from a marketing course called Integrated Marketing Communications where my team came up with a strategic marketing plan over the course of the semester for our client Fork & Spoon. Fork & Spoon is a nonprofit restaurant in Bozeman, MT where they run on a unique pay-what-you-can business model and strive to help feed the food insecure people within the community. This was a very challenging but fun organization to market for. We came up with unique marketing ideas for them and also created visuals so that our clients could gain a better understanding of our ideas.
Here are some of the visuals I created for Fork & Spoons strategic marketing plan:
Exterior Alteration
We suggested that Fork & Spoon renovate the exterior of their restaurant to gain a more cohesive look with their branding. We wanted to show a new look of what the building could look like with a fresh coat of paint, additional signage and adding their logo. We also needed to keep in mind that they are a nonprofit and therefore keep the budget low which is why we kept the design simplistic. Everything I altered in the ‘After’ photo was done on photoshop!
Vehicle Wrap
We also suggested that Fork & Spoon get their catering van wrapped as a part of our outdoor advertising strategy. The wrap includes their company name, visuals, their main tagline, their phone number, their logo and key messages that they would like to send to their target market. These are the visuals I created on photoshop!
Bus Stop Advertisement
This is another outdoor advertisement for Fork & Spoon, where I created this bus stop ad on photoshop to give our clients a better understanding of what our idea would look like. The bus stop has a similar look to the catering van which ties in with their overall branding but still grabs attention with the vibrant orange color, visuals and contrast.
Thanks for reading, hope you enjoyed it.
