Office Renovation – Beaver Plastics LTD.

In the summer of 2017 I managed and organized an office renovation for Beaver Plastics where I worked with hired contractors and sub contractors within a set time frame and budget. I Designed a new floor plan for the Break Room, Reception and Kitchen area. I also hired my best friend to help me paint the entire office space through the course of the summer. It was a bit chaotic as the business wanted to stay fully functioning over the course of the entire renovation so a lot of planning went into when to hire certain trades. For example, flooring and moving companies came in on weekends to conduct their portion of the work. This was my first ever renovation project in commercial design! I learnt a lot throughout the process and it was challenging at times but am extremely happy with the outcome!

Here are the finished results:

Front Entrance & Reception Desk.
Waiting area adjacent to front entrance and reception.
New Break Room which includes a small kitchen space. I worked with a kitchen designer to design the space where it includes a coffee station (to the right), sink, microwave and fridge for employees to put their lunch in.
Seating area within Break Room. Break Room Seats 6 total.
Hallway of to offices to show flooring selections and fresh paint on walls, trim and doors. I also painted the railings to match and frosted all the office windows to create more privacy upon request from employees.

Thanks for following along all of my work!
